Senior Relationship Manager – AIF Depositary (M/F)

 
Your key objectives:
You will be the commercial contact for AIF Depositary’s clients with a strong business thinking approach (strong relationship skills, commercial performance management, …). Your typical day will see you working on a wide range of various projects.
You will directly report to the Head of AIF Depositary.

Your next challenge:

Performing the commercial interactions with BIL’s AIF Depositary clients (fund initiators and fund managers) as well as all involved professional third-parties (AIFM, Fund Administration, Transfer Agent, Auditors, Legal Advisors, etc.) and concerned BIL teams businesswise and performs the function of Depositary Bank following the AIFMD.
  • Act as first point of contact for your portfolio of funds within a team, covering depositary and banking topics.
  • Maintain and develop trustful, long-term relationships with our clients.
  • Feed business developers with technical and legal elements to be taken into consideration for proposing BIL’s services.
  • Assist the hierarchy in drafting of business plans and contribute reaching operational and commercial targets. Provide commercial and risk reporting to the Head of AIF Depositary based on appropriate KPIs.
  • Participate in the preparation/review/negotiation of service offers, agreements, offering documents, …
  • Manage the on-boarding process.
  • Take an active part to the evolution of procedures and transversal projects in relation with AIF business.
  • Contribute to the depositary regulatory watch and ensure that the Bank’s depositary activity remains compliant with laws, regulation and best practices.
  • Act as internal and external a point of escalation.
  • Participate in industry events.
