Fixed-term contract until end of 2026 -
You will be
responsible for providing legal support to the Front Office and its support
teams / departments. You will report to the Legal Wealth Management team
leader.
Your next challenge:
- Provide legal advice with regard to Wealth Management activities (concerning mainly insurance, lending, civil, commercial, corporate and investor protection law aspects)
- Advise BIL Group on its duties and responsibilities in respect of these activities, in particular in relation to general banking, bank insurance, cross border, credit structuring / implementation and MIFID related regulatory aspects with a specific focus on (consumer) lending
- Draft, review, negotiate any types of agreements in relation with the referred activities
- Contribute to BIL group projects by giving the best legal recommendations
- Actively participate in the legal and regulatory developments within BIL group including the launch of new products in coordination with other departments (compliance, risks, product development, IT…)
- Participate in external working groups (ABBL, etc.)
- Coordinate outside counsel
- Provide support to the Head of Legal and team members on various matters
