Senior Product Owner (M/F)

Purpose of the role:

The Senior Product Owner represents the customer and acts as the voice of the stakeholders. He or she is responsible for defining and prioritizing the features and functionalities of the product to ensure its successful development and delivery. The Senior Product Owner/Program Manager is responsible for setting the strategic direction for a portfolio of products andor services.

Key accountabilities:

  • Collect from Business owners (and Product Managers) and define and communicate the product vision and strategy to the Fusion team, stakeholders, and other members of the organization. Translate the vision into capabilities or Features. 
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the needs and priorities of customers and stakeholders. Continuously refine and groom the backlog and Feature to ensure they are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development. 
  • Participate and conduct intake, initiation, implementation of the digital strategy.
  • Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and the Fusion team to define Features, user stories and acceptance criteria. Ensure that features, user stories and acceptance criteria are clear, concise, and actionable. 
  • Define and participate in the testing strategy in scope and be accountable, with the support of the Fusion team, for executing and validating the delivery.
  • Create, streamline and ensure quality of documentation created by the Fusion team(user stories, feature, …documentation). 
  • Participate in sprint and PI-planning meetings to help the development team understand the prioritized items from the product backlog and provide clarifications when needed. 
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their needs, and incorporate their input into the product backlog. Regularly communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders. 
  • Actively participate in and animate various Agile ceremonies, such as PI planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Provide guidance to the development team during the sprint and ensure that the product vision is effectively translated into working software. 
  • Collaborate with the Product Managers, Scrum Master, and other stakeholders to plan and coordinate product releases. Define release goals, scope, and schedule, ensuring that customer value is delivered in a timely manner. 

Your next challenge:

  • Act as the second line of support by analysing the request, check if it is an incident or an evolution. Give feedback to end-users and monitor the incident until the resolution. 
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the product's performance and gather feedback from customers and stakeholders. Use this information to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions to enhance the product. 
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate market trends. 
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and other product owners. Provide leadership and guidance to the Fusion team, facilitating their understanding of the product vision and goals. 
  • Train, guide, and mentor Product Owners on the various processes and projects within the team; be able to convince and influence others. 
  • Develop a complete understanding of the Value Chain and its delivrables, and actively participate in its success. 
  • Innovate and tailor our products and services to meet the evolving demands and preferences of our clients, in line with the Bank's strategy and target service level. 
  • Implement and develop a risk scoring system for all products and services, enhancing the first line of defense.
