Mission:
We are
seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and strategic professional to join
our data governance team. As a Senior Data Governance Officer, you will play a
pivotal role in defining, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s data
governance framework. Your work will ensure that data is managed as a valuable
asset, supporting compliance, operational efficiency, and data-driven
decision-making across the enterprise.
Your next challenge:
- Develop,
implement, and maintain the data governance framework, policies, and
standards in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best
practices. - Collaborate
with data owners, stewards, and business units to define roles,
responsibilities, and processes for effective data governance. - Prepare
the Data Strategy Committee and ensure proper escalation and
decision-making on data-related issues. - Act
as gatekeeper on the Business Glossary and Metadata Repository to ensure
consistency and clarity across definitions, systems and processes. - Monitor
compliance with data governance policies and drive remediation plans where
gaps are identified. - Lead
initiatives to improve data accountability, ownership, and stewardship
across the organization. - Support
regulatory and audit requirements by ensuring proper documentation and
evidence of governance activities. - Provide
training and guidance to stakeholders on data governance principles,
tools, and methodologies. - Stay
informed about emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory developments
in data governance and data management.
