Within the Agency Services team, you will be in charge of ensuring the operational management of payments for domestic and international clearing accounts.
Responsabilités
Main goals:
- Intervene in complex operational and administrative tasks.
- Prepare and/or review and validate internal and external reports.
- Ensure 1st and 2nd level controls.
- Ensure the application of the regulations and procedures in force.
- Actively participate in the updating and evolution of procedures.
What will you do?
- Understand the documentation relating to an issue in order to be able to enter it into BIL's IT systems (Final Terms, Terms and Conditions, Prospectus, Temporary Global Note, Permanent Global Note)
- Manage the operational management of payments to be made for domestic and international clearings in line with the MOP (Manual of Procedures) and the MPB (Market Practice Book)
- Ensure the management and the communication of the Corporate Actions using SWIFT standards (interest payments, redemptions, BPUT, PINK...)
- Calculate and communicate interest rates and/or variable repayments
- Management of communication with issuers for payment details (Amount, Value Date, Calculation) in order to respect the various cut-offs.
- Ensure that the needs and requirements of the clearings are met in terms of information, deadline, means of communication, and if necessary, contact the various interlocutors as an intermediary between the market and the clearings
Compétences requises
- Areas of expertise: Securities, Payments
- Education level: Bachelor
- Orientation: Finance, Economics or equivalent experience
- Languages: English (essential), French (optional)
- Type & years of experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking sector
- Specific banking knowledge: Good knowledge of back office mechanisms (cash and/or securities), banking products and control functions; Knowledge of applicable regulations.
- Good knowledge of office automation/IT tools (BLS, T24, Swift, Documentum, etc.)
- Other knowledge of the basics of project management
- Other requirements: Rigor and precision, good interpersonal skills, resistance to stress, openness to change, dynamism, sense of initiative, autonomy and flexibility, adaptability, good team spirit.
