What will you do?
You will be part of a small and dynamic First Line of Defence KYC Office
team within the Client Service Office team, focused on providing excellent
service to internal and external clients. You will be responsible to conduct
comprehensive and holistic periodic reviews of client files, KYC (Know Your
Client) and KYT (Know Your Transactions) both individual and legal entities, in
accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures. The
role covers all customer risk levels. You will report to the Head of Client
Service Office
Key tasks
- Conduct risk-based assessments of client identification, KYC (Know Your Customer)
- Assessments of client documentation, in particular CDB 20 and internal policy requirements.
- Assessment of KYC accuracy, completeness, and plausibility incl. source of wealth, flow of funds and identification of red flags.
- Provide support and guidance to Front Office on periodic review matters and ensure that risks and red flags identified during the review are adequately addressed by Front office and escalated to Compliance and relevant stakeholders, as needed.
- Manage the front to back periodic review process to drive timely completion in line with the expected frequency of periodic reviews, ensure follow up action is taken, e.g. in case of change in circumstances, and validation is in line with the governance model.
- Ensure updated information and data is correctly recorded.
- Closely work with Front office and collaborate with various stakeholders, particularly Compliance
- Propose process and system improvements and participate in workshops or projects.
- Establish, maintain and share knowledge and best practices within the KYCO team and prepare business cases or conduct training to Front office.
