à Luxembourg (BIL) is hiring a Head of Financial Planning to join its Finance
leadership team. Reporting to the Deputy CFO, this strategic role will lead the
Bank’s forward‑looking financial agenda across FP&A, MIS,
Investor Communications, Staff Cost & Payroll, and Procurement. The
position forms part of a planned evolution within the Finance leadership team,
ensuring continuity in a key function.
You will oversee teams covering revenue and cost analysis, payroll and
benefits, procurement governance, MIS reporting, and investor relations. The
role requires strong transversal collaboration across Finance, Risk Management,
COO functions, and commercial business lines. The position focuses on setting
direction, driving transformation, and strengthening the Bank’s financial
steering capabilities
Your next challenge:
Financial
Performance & Strategic Planning
- Build and maintain a robust framework
for timely, accurate, and insightful financial performance reporting
across the Bank, aligned with the 5-year strategic plan. - Lead the Bank’s budgeting, forecasting,
and strategic planning processes—including quarterly forecasts, annual
budgets, and tool enhancements—in close partnership with the - Deputy CFO
to drive strategic decision-making.
Lead a team of finance analysts who
partner with commercial front-office and business lines, delivering
proactive analysis and insights to steer performance and support growth
initiatives. - Oversee cost analysis and drive cost
optimization initiatives, including cost control, allocation
methodologies, and efficiency improvements across the Bank. - Conduct ad-hoc financial simulations to
support Management decisions on strategic projects, investments, and
acquisitions
Investor
Relations & Regulatory Compliance
- Provide senior oversight of investor
communication materials and deliver impactful reporting for rating
agencies, contributing to the Bank’s financial narrative and investor
relations strategy. - Ensure compliance
with risk and regulatory requirements, including capital adequacy planning.
Management
Information Systems & Tools
- Set the vision and roadmap for MIS to
ensure robust performance reporting, KPI frameworks, and dashboards in
close collaboration with other finance analysts. - Enhance FP&A financial tools for
internal reporting and commercial analysis. - Sponsor transformation initiatives and
drive improvements in financial processes, planning tools, and MIS
systems architecture and processes.
Procurement
- Lead
procurement governance. outsourcing oversight and support cost
optimization and vendor strategy.
Staff Cost &
Payroll
- Lead
the staff cost & payroll function, ensuring the accurate calculation of
employee remuneration and pension contributions, as well as the comprehensive
reporting of all FTE metrics and staff compensation.
Leadership
& Team Development
- Lead,
develop, and engage a team of approximately 35 finance professionals
(FP&A, MIS, Procurement, and Payroll), fostering continuous
improvement through upskilling, efficiency, automation, and high-quality
deliverables.
