As part of our “Building
Tomorrow Together 2025-2030” strategic plan, we are building a Cash Collection
desk to support the growth of our commercial franchise. The Head of the Cash
Collection desk is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategic
oversight and management of the bank's liquidity and deposit operations
reporting to the Head of Balance Sheet Management. This position requires a
dynamic leader to optimize deposit collection, manage liquidity funding, and
ensure the delivery of competitive and market-responsive deposit offerings. The
ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in financial markets, strategic
planning, and team leadership.
Your next challenge:
Creation and development of offerings:
- Actively participate in establishing a center of competence for client deposit products, focusing on stable deposits from public sector entities, corporates and high-net-worth individuals.
- Develop a comprehensive range of deposit products tailored to client needs and target markets.
- Create and optimize internal pricing grids to maximize profitability and deposit quality.
- Establish and maintain a stable and diversified deposit base, enhancing the quality and contribution to regulatory liquidity metrics (LCR, NSFR).
Optimization of deposit collection:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize deposit collection volumes and reduce the bank’s overall funding costs by collaborating with internal liquidity providers (Corporate & Institutional Banking, and Wealth Management teams in Luxembourg, Switzerland and France).
- Develop a network of external liquidity providers (like fiduciary deposits and corporate deposit brokers) to ensure the desk provides competitive deposit offerings aligned with the evolving money market trends in Europe.
Interdepartmental collaboration:
- Work closely with ALM and Treasury teams under the supervision of the ALM Committee to ensure effective liquidity management and associated risk oversight.
- Collaborate with ALM in the implementation of performance indicators focused on deposit growth, quality, and average funding cost.
- Participate with experts (Balance Sheet Management, Risk Management, Center of Excellence Data, …) in the evolution of transactional and analytical tools to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience.
Client and stakeholder engagement:
- Act as a primary liaison with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored deposit solutions.
- Advocate for the Cash Collection desk within the bank, promoting its strategic importance and contributions to overall liquidity management.
Team development:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, encouraging professional growth and development.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation and workflow management within the desk.
