Corporate Banker – Global Advisory (M/F), Zürich or Geneva

As part of our strategy to selectively
develop our Swiss corporate clientele in the small/mid-market, with a
particular focus on family-/entrepreneur-owned companies, we are seeking an
entrepreneurial-driven Corporate Banker to take the lead in developing this
extension of our growing franchise. Within
the Global Advisory department, you will be responsible for acquiring new Corporate
Banking clients and developing relationships with existing clients by proposing
innovative products and services.

Your next challenge: 

  • Ensure the acquisition of new Swiss corporate
    clients, with a particular emphasis on family-/entrepreneur-owned
    companies that would benefit BIL Suisse as a whole, by building and
    maintaining an external network of clients and strategic partners to
    identify opportunities for BIL Suisse to present its product offerings to
    corporate clients.
  • Collaborating within the Global Advisory
    team, and more broadly with Relationship Managers within Wealth Management,
    the individual will leverage his/her expertise to identify growth
    opportunities. He/she will take the lead in preparing proposals that offer
    coherent and innovative solutions for clients and/or in collaboration with
    our expert teams in Switzerland and Luxembourg.
  • Ensure the promotion of the Bank’s value
    proposition and position oneself as a key player in its success while
    serving as the first line of defence.
  • Serving as an ambassador for his/her area
    of expertise within the Bank, while sharing that knowledge with other
    teams.
  • Attract new clients and meet targeted
    goals for revenue, costs, deposits, and loan production, all while
    maintaining the first line of defence.
  • Actively collaborate with the rest of the
    Global Advisory team and Wealth Management relationship managers and take
    the initiative when growth opportunities arise within their portfolios.
  • Develop innovative proposals that showcase
    the full spectrum of solutions available to corporate clients, positioning
    yourself as a partner capable of delivering a comprehensive and cohesive
    offering. Present solutions to clients and implement operational workflows
    once proposals are accepted.
  • Assist in the technical training of
    (senior) Relationship Managers in other lines to help them identify
    opportunities with their clients. Proactively position the Corporate
    Banking Value Proposition in close collaboration with other business
    development teams for existing clients, prospects, and a network of
    strategic partners for BIL.
  • Adhere to all procedures and compliance
    requirements (KYC, AML, etc.) relevant to the role, ensuring customer
    information is documented appropriately.
  • Serve as an external ambassador for the BIL Group at conferences,
    presentations and training sessions, while initiating and fostering a network
    of strategic partners for BIL, participating in discussion panels, media
    appearances etc.
